Synchronization Options

  • "Sync on changes" is strongly recommended. It will perform the sync operation when any pain record or daily reflection is added, edited, or deleted. It will also sync when you change your profile, default filters, defaults overlays, or modify your custom lists.
  • "Sync on app start" and "Sync on exit" will perform the sync operation when you open or close the app respectively. This setting is usually not required if "Sync on changes" is enabled, but could be used if you are concerned about data or battery usage from frequent changes.
  • "Sync on interval" is a feature only available to Manage My Pain Pro users. This will make sure that Manage My Pain syncs with the servers even if the app isn't open. You can set the interval at which this occurs, knowing that lower intervals has a greater impact on data and battery usage. This option is highly valuable for those who use multiple devices regularly.
  • "Allow anonymous usage reporting" is enabled by default and allows us to improve Manage My Pain for all users by sending information about how you use the app. No identifiable information is reported and all reporting is done as per our Privacy Policy.
