Leading Android Pain Management App Adds Medication Support

January 24, 2014
Android's most effective app to track, analyze, and share your pain has gotten even more powerful with the addition of medication support
After several months of beta-testing, ManagingLife has integrated medication into its award-winning app, Manage My Pain. The self-management app is used by thousands of chronic pain sufferers with conditions such as fibromyalgia, migraines, back pain, and arthritis.

Users can now add medications to their Profile by choosing from a standardized global database of medications. These medications are then added to the list of potential alleviating factors, allowing users to track which medications are being taken in response to their pain. They are also able to capture the dosage taken and its general effectiveness in managing the pain.

"One of our most requested features was the ability to integrate medications into our pain management app," said Michelle Janmohamed, Vice President, ManagingLife. "The resulting analysis and reports will be extremely informative for patients and doctors seeking to come up with an optimized medication treatment plan."

Since September 2011, Manage My Pain for Android has helped thousands of pain sufferers better understand their symptoms and provide evidence of their pain for their doctors, insurance providers or government agencies to support disability claims. Manage My Pain Pro or Manage My Pain Lite can be downloaded from either Google Play or the Amazon Appstore.
